Mattress Discounters pioneered the concept of the "sleep shop" concept when it opened the doors of our first Sleep Center in 1978. We operate Sleep Centers in Baltimore, MD, Boston, MA, Providence, RI, Richmond, VA and the Washington D.C. Metro Area, and plan to continue expanding in the coming years.
Today we employ approximately 500 people and hold the leadership position in the markets we do business. In addition, our own private label mattresses – Factory Direct Comfort Source®, are made across from our Support Center (Corporate Headquarters), outside of Washington, D.C., in Upper Marlboro, Maryland.
