Mattress Discounters Today
Mattress Discounters pioneered the concept of the "sleep shop" concept when it opened the doors of our first Sleep Center in October, 1978. From that one Sleep Center has grown the success of today –over 75 Stores in 5 markets. We operate Sleep Centers in Maryland, Richmond, VA., Northern VA., Delaware and the Washington D.C. Metro Area, and plan to continue expanding in the coming years.  Today we employ approximately 200 people and hold the leadership position in the markets we do business.  Our Sleep Centers continue to provide customers an alternative to department stores and furniture stores. Because selling a good night's sleep is all we do, our Sleep Counselors are experts at helping each customer find his or her perfect mattress set.
