May I use my Mattress Discounters Preferred Customer Credit Card as soon as I receive it in the mail?

Good News! You can begin to make purchases on your account prior to receiving your card. Simply have the sales associate provide you with your account number, after you have been approved with valid identification, and enjoy shopping! Once you receive your Mattress Discounters credit card, you may visit the Mattress Discounters location nearest to you and make purchases, based on your available credit, with your Mattress Discounters credit card.

If I've forgotten my Mattress Discounters Preferred Customer Credit Card can I still charge purchases to my account?

Yes! As long as you have available credit you may still charge purchases to your account. You will need to provide a form of photo identification in order to verify your information and process a charge on your Mattress Discounters Preferred Customer Credit Card.

What is the interest rate on this card?

The Mattress Discounters Preferred Customer credit card is issued with approved credit by Wells Fargo Financial National Bank. For newly opened accounts, the regular APR is 27.99%. The APR may vary. The APR is given as of April 1, 2011. If you are charged interest in any billing cycle, the minimum interest charge will be $1.00.

Is there an annual fee on the card?

One of the great advantages of being a Mattress Discounters Preferred Customer cardholder is that there is NO annual fee* on the credit card.

When will I receive my first billing statement?

It may take up to 45 days from the date of your first charge to receive your first billing statement. If you have any questions concerning your account prior to the receipt of your first billing statement, please call Customer Service at 1-800-459-8451.

Am I able to make payments at the Sleep Center?

Making payments at the Sleep Center is not an option. You can make your payment by mail, telephone or internet. To avoid late fees, you must pay the minimum monthly payment each billing cycle.

While making payments at the Sleep Center is not an option, you do currently have two convenient options for submitting payments to Wells Fargo Financial National Bank:
  • Mail- pay by personal check or money order (a return envelope is included with your billing statement)
  • Speed Pay- pay by phone, with a personal check, for a minimal charge. Simply call Customer Services at 1-800-626-6285 to pay by phone.

The payment address is also indicated on your billing statement. Be sure to include your account number on your check and allow 5 to 7 business days for the payment to be received.
 
For telephone payments, please call 1-800-459-8451. After you enter your account information, wait for the main menu and select option 1 to pay by phone. If you require assistance from a representative and you need to post your payment on the same day of the call, there will be a $10 charge to make a telephone payment. Representative-assisted payments must be made during regular business hours Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm Central Time to post on the same day.
 
For payments over the internet, please visit wellsfargofinancial.com. Click on "Pay Your Bill Online" in the left hand column and then "Pay Your Bill Online Free!" under "Retail Store Credit Cards". Select "Enroll Now" and follow the online prompts.
 
Payments made using the internet or the automated phone service must be made before 11:59 pm Pacific Time to post the same day.

What do I do if my card has been stolen?

You can contact Wells Fargo Financial National Bank’s Customer Service Department (1-800-459-8451) who will close out the account and reissue a new credit card and account number. All existing balances on the closed account will be transferred over to the new account.

Can I add another user to my already existing credit card?

Yes. To authorize another user on your account, this individual must fill out the co-applicant section of the credit card application and we will submit it for processing.

How long will my account be active?

Your account may remain active up to 18 months from the date of last activity unless the terms and conditions of your account have changed or if your financial situation has changed.

How can I be approved for No Credit Check Financing?

Credit approvals are based on two factors:
  1. You must be employed for at least 6 months with a gross income of $1,000 a month; and
  2. You must have an open, active bank account established for at least 3 months with NO returned checks or NSF fees within the last 30 days.

What is the interest rate/payment?

Since this is a lease/purchase program- there is no interest rate. Lease payments are 15% of the invoice per month. Example: $1,000 invoice = $150/mo payment.

How long is the lease agreement?

All lease/purchase agreements are 12 months.

Are there any buyout options?

Progressive Finance offers early buyout options to customers who wish to wown the merchandise outright before the 12 month term is up. There are two buyout options:
  1. 90 Days same as cash-You pay only the invoice amount and a $40 processing fee within 90 days of the delivery date.
  2. 65% buyout option-If you wish to own the merchandise outright after 90 days, you may purchase it at 65% of the balance left on your account. For example: After six months, you wish to purchase your bedding outright and the balance on your agreement is $500. The 65% buyout option will allow you to buy the merchandise for $325.

What is the processing fee?

There is a $40 collection fee that will be collected after you have been approved.

Am I able to make payments at the Store?

Since the financing is handled through Progressive Financing, payments will be submitted to Progressive Financing through Debit Authorization and not Mattress Discounters.
